Celebrate Pride Through Travel: LGBTQ+ Friendly Trips, Cruises & Tours for 2025–2026

Pride Month is here and if you ask me, there’s no better time to talk about travel that feels safe, welcoming, and full of joy. Whether you’re dreaming of a big international adventure or something low-key and relaxing, there are so many LGBTQ+ friendly options out there. And yep, I can help you plan them.

I specialize in travel that celebrates identity and inclusivity, and I love helping people find destinations and experiences that just feel good. Travel should be about being yourself and feeling welcome wherever you go.

Let’s talk destinations

There are some amazing places doing a really good job at creating safe, inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ travelers.

If you’re thinking international, Spain and Portugal are always top picks. They’re super welcoming, with amazing food, beautiful beaches, and some of the best Pride events out there. Japan is another one to watch, especially if you’re into culture, city life, and unforgettable food. Cities like Tokyo and Osaka have really embraced the LGBTQ+ community.

If you’d rather stay stateside, there are some incredible spots here too.

  • Oregon: Portland has such a fun, artsy vibe and the coast is so peaceful and friendly.

  • Washington: Seattle’s always buzzing with events and the nature nearby is unreal.

  • Colorado: Denver and Boulder have a great mix of city and outdoorsy fun, and both feel really open and inclusive.

Now let’s talk cruises

Cruising is one of my favorite ways to travel, especially when you find a line that truly gets it.

  • Celebrity Cruises has been ahead of the game when it comes to supporting LGBTQ+ travelers. Their ships feel inclusive from the moment you board, and they even do special Pride sailings.

  • Azamara is offering a 15-night LGBTQ+ cruise through Japan in 2026 which sounds like a total dream.

  • Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has some amazing themed sailings too. Think river views, good vibes, and events hosted by LGBTQ+ travel pros. They’ve got options like a Christmas Markets cruise and a Paris-to-Normandy trip that look like something straight out of a movie.

And if land tours are more your thing...

There are some seriously cool itineraries coming up.

  • Belmond has a luxury train journey called “Travel with Pride” from Paris to Milan. If you’ve ever wanted to ride through Europe in style, this is it.

  • Brendan Vacations is doing a “Scotland with Pride” tour in 2026. Castles, whisky, history, and queer joy? Yes please.
